VILLA TERPSIHORI – KATSAROU, BREATHTAKING VIEWS

Villa Terpsihori is one of the ‘Nine Muses’ development (of five villas in total) at Katsarou. Only a five minute drive from Skiathos town, the villa is approached from quite a steep, private concrete road leading from the main Kastarou road, this road only serves the Nine Muses development so there is no passing traffic. It is the last villa, at the bottom of this road.
This well-designed three bedroomed villa is around 15 years old and has been extremely well maintained, the views from the villa are quite stunning and its location ensures total privacy, serenity and that away-from-it-all feeling.
The villa is on two floors, plus a mezzanine floor.
From the ground level, the front door opens up into the living room and split-level diner and kitchen areas. This is a large, open-plan space with a wooden staircase leading up to the mezzanine floor which could be used as an extra sleeping area. The living room has high, vaulted, wooden beamed ceilings and an open fireplace. French windows lead out onto the upper terrace and the wonderful views of Skiathos town, Maragkos, Tsougriaki and Arkos can be appreciated. Three steps lead down to the diner and kitchen areas. The kitchen is small, but well planned and fully fitted. There is also a good sized bathroom on this floor with shower, WC and hand basin.
Stairs lead down to the lower floor where the three bedrooms and also the boiler room are located. The master bedroom is split-level, the en-suite being on the first level and three steps lead down to the bedroom. The en-suite has bath, shower, WC and hand basin. From this bedroom there is a door leading out to a terrace area at the back of the villa.
A large hallway leads to the second and third bedrooms which have a shared bathroom with bath, shower, WC and hand basin. The second bedroom is a good size, the third is smaller but still suitable for two single beds or a double. All bedrooms are very bright and airy and all have fitted floor-to ceiling wardrobes/cupboards.
Outside areas include the upper terrace from the living room and the lower terrace reached from external steps from the upper terrace. There is also a shaded garden area and a lovely, small, shaded terrace area to the side of the house.
From the ground level, steps lead down to the superb swimming pool, almost ‘grand piano’ in shape which is a shared pool for all five houses. There is a maintenance charge for the upkeep of this pool.
The villa has the benefit of oil fired central heating.
There is ample parking outside the villa.

Αυτή η βίλλα ανήκει στο συγκρότημα των «εννέα Μουσών», το οποίο συντελείτε από 5 βίλλες και βρίσκεται στην περιοχή Κατσαρού. Βρίσκεται σε μια πλαγιά που προσφέρει καταπληκτική θεα στην θάλασσα, μόνο 5 λεπτά από την πόλη της Σκιάθου. Η βίλλα είναι η πιο κάτω στην σειρά.
Η βίλλα έχει πολύ ωραία σχεδιασμό, και είναι σε αρίστη φόρμα, έχει συντηρηθεί πολύ καλά. Η θέση της βίλλας της χαρίζει ησυχία, ασφάλεια και μόνωση.
Έχει δυο ορόφους συν ένα πατάρι, και περιέχει 3 κρεβατοκάμαρες, σαλόνι, κουζίνα και μπάνιο.

Στο πιο κάτω επίπεδο βρίσκονται το σαλόνι και η κουζίνα με την τραπεζαρία. Από εκεί μια ξύλινη σκάλα οδηγεί στο πατάρι, το οποίο μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί επίσης ως κρεβατοκάμαρα.
Στο σαλόνι υπάρχει ένα τζάκι. Οι μπαλκονόπορτες ανοίγουν προς την βεράντα και επιτρέπουν καταπληκτική θεα στην πόλη, την Εύβοια, τα Τσουγρια και την Αρκο.
Επίσης υπάρχει στο ισόγειο ένα μπάνιο με ντουζιέρα.
Σκάλες οδηγούν στο κάτω επίπεδο οπού υπάρχουν 3 κρεβατοκάμαρες. Η κυρία κρεβατοκάμαρα έχει δικό της μπάνιο σε εσωτερικό επίπεδο υψωμένο. Από το δωμάτιο αυτό υπάρχει πρόσβαση σε μια αυλή πίσω από το σπίτι.
Η δεύτερη και η τρίτη κρεβατοκάμαρα μοιράζονται ένα μπάνιο. Όλες οι κρεβατοκάμαρες έχουν μεγάλες ντουλάπες και είναι φωτεινές πολύ.

Παντού γύρω από το σπίτι υπάρχουν χώροι συχνάσεις. Υπάρχει και ένας κήπος που προσφέρει δροσιά και σκιά. Από το πιο κάτω σημείο σκάλες οδηγούν στην πισίνα η οποία είναι κοινόχρηστη. Υπάρχουν κοινόχρηστα για την συντήρηση της πισίνας. Η βίλλα έχει κεντρική θέρμανση και χώρο στάθμευσης αυτοκινήτων.
